Bacon Green Bundles


700g Green Beans (6-8 Per Bundle)

½ Tsp Baking Soda

6 Slices Bacon

¼ Tsp Garlic Powder

Salt & Pepper to Taste

1 Tbsp Brown Sugar

1. Preheat your Louisiana Grill to 200C.

2. Next, trim and wash the green beans, add baking soda to a large pot of boiling water, place the green beans into the pot and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove the green beans, and place into a bowl of ice water. Dab the green beans dry, toss with garlic powder, and salt & pepper to taste.

3. Next, cut each slice of bacon in half, then wrap a slice around 6-8 green beans, and secure with toothpick.

4. After all bundles are secured, combine the brown sugar with 1 tbsp of water, brush it lightly over the bundles, put them in the grill, and roast for 20 minutes. Remove the bundles from the grill, and serve.
