12 wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 1 hour
36 Large Prawns (cooked or uncooked)
1 red onion, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 pineapple, chopped into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup butter, melted
Pellet Suggestion: Hickory
Preheat your Louisiana Grill to 200°C with the flame broiler open.
On a skewer, pierce a slice of red onion, followed by 1 piece of pineapple and 1 piece of prawn. Repeat three times until the skewer is full. Continue skewing ingredients until the shrimp is used up.
Place the skewers over the flame broiler, and brush the shrimp with melted butter. Flip each skewer after about 2 minutes, or after the grill marks are dark enough for your liking.
Serve warm with freshly squeezed lime and enjoy!
